Dive is a comic that illustrates the feeling of anticipation before and relief after coming out as gay. To me, coming out feels like jumping into crisp, cold water. After awhile, your body adapts to the water you’re in and you feel much more comfortable. Emerging from the water of a pool is like facing the real world after finally letting someone know of your identity-- it feels different, a bit confusing and a whole lot of re-adapting.
